In this short video, you will see how we sand and refinish a scratched and worn-out floor.

First, we sanded the floor with the big machine.

After that we used the Bona Power Drive to smooth out the floor.

We also water poped because it re-opens the wood's grain structure (especially the hard grain) to allow for a deeper saturation of color.

Stain the wood with Nutmeg color.

The brand of stain that we used was DuraSeal.

Applied 1 coat of Bona Amber Sealer.

Also, applied 2 coats of water-based Bona Mega Polyurethane with a Satin finish.
